Right now the Denver Broncos have Brock Osweiler as a free agent target, and Trevor Siemian as a back-up. The only problem is Osweiler is drawing heavy interest from the Houston Texans. The unproven quarterback could be looking for a huge pay day, and if he does get a monster contract with another team, then what does that mean for the Broncos?
The free agent quarterbacks available are horrible, and at the end of the day the Broncos may be forced to throw away a high pick to trade for a player like Mike Glennon or Colin Kaepernick. I have watched many Super Bowl teams crumble in free agency the year after, but there may not be a team that could crumble worse than the Broncos if they do not find a quarterback.
Who knows, Elway may need to get back on that telephone and call #18. It could happen folks. Brett Favre kept coming out of retirement. Just saying….
