Former Raiders S Curtis Riley signs a deal with the Steelers

Curtis Riley
Pittsburgh Steelers have signed former Raiders safety Curtis Riley. Riley brings starting experience and can be a core special teams player.

Former Raiders safety Curtis Riley has signed a one year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

In 2015, Curtis Riley went undrafted after a steallar career at Fresno State. He signed with the Tennessee Titans, and also had a stint with the New York Giants and Oakland Raiders.

Riley is a very solid free safety who stands at 6000 tall and weighs 203 pounds. Riley is just 27 and has been a very solid player on special teams.

He has had a pretty solid career, and will continue to do that this year.

Career NFL statistics
Total tackles: 114
Forced fumbles: 0
Fumble recoveries: 0
Pass deflections: 8
Interceptions: 5
Defensive touchdowns: 1

I feel Riley can make this roster. He will be competing with Mike Mitchell, Robert Golden, Shamarko Thomas, Jordan Dangerfield, Sean Davis and Ray Vinopal. I would not be shocked if Riley locks down a spot.
