Ravens signed former Chargers safety Eric Weddle to a four year deal

Former San Diego Chargers safety Eric Weddle has agreed to a four-year, $26 million deal with the Baltimore Ravens, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Weddle can earn up to $29 million with the contract if he meets incentives. He will be paid $9 million in 2016 and $13 million total in the first two seasons.

Weddle is considered to be one of the best safeties in the NFL. He has been named to the Pro Bowl three times, and has been honored as an All-Pro five times.
