Northwest Missouri State football player found dead in his dorm room
Northwest Missouri State University were the Champions of Division 2 football, and Nicholas Turner the Junior defensive end/outside linebacker was a good depth player.
Turner finished the 2015 season with 22 tackles and a sack in the teams National Championship Game over Shepherd.
Well that will be the last game Turner will play in. Yesterday, Turner was discovered dead in his residence on campus, according to the school.
The Northwest Missouri State University community is mourning the loss of one of its students.
Nicholas C. Turner, a junior corporate recreation and wellness major from St. Louis, was found dead today in his residence on campus. The Northwest community is invited to a gathering at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1, in the J.W. Jones Student Union Ballroom to remember Turner.
The death is under investigation by the Nodaway County coroner’s office, Maryville Public Safety and University Police. No foul play is suspected.
