Talk about your experience as a student. What is your major/minor? Did you participate in any other activities or campus organizations other than football?
I’m currently a senior at Husson University getting my masters in the Hospitality and Tourism Management program. Husson has provided me with some great opportunities throughout my time here while helping me make connections with business outside of school. They really try to set you on the best path to succeed. I have changed majors three times since being at school and I can’t thank my advisor/Professor Dr. Lee Speronis for the help through everything.

What do your teammates say is your best quality?
I’d like to say my best qualities are being reliable and consistent.

What kind of role do you see yourself in on the team? What scheme and/or position suits your skill set?
It seems like I have played everywhere on the field during my time at Husson. I’ve played on almost all of the special teams, but Tight End and Fullback have been my main positions.

Who is the best player you have ever played against in college?
Easily Frank Curran. Even though Frank is my teammate, he’s the best player and one of the most hardworking players I’ve ever played against. He is a defensive end, so being a tight end we take reps against each other all the time and he really pushes me to get better.

Which one of your teammates impresses you the most?
The teammate that impresses me the most is Jacob Cameron. Another one of the most hard working and inspiring guys I’ve had the opportunity to play with. He’s been through a lot but nothing ever seems to stop him, he always finds a way to keep pushing and that’s something that impresses me the most. I don’t think he has missed a practice, lift, or film session his entire time on the team.

Describe a time in your life when you were able to overcome a struggle.
My sophomore year of college I was starting my first game against Union in Schenectady New York and I ended up breaking multiple bones in my left foot. That injury was a major setback for me and put me out for the next 8 weeks of the season. I was lucky enough that I didn’t need surgery but I got pretty down about it. The thing that helped me the most were my teammates, trainers, family, and friends. They got me back on the field for the last few games of the season.

If you didn’t play football, what other sport would you play?
I would have loved to play lacrosse. Even though I’ve never played before it’s another sport you can hit people in so I’d enjoy it.

What is something that you are most proud of? What would you say is your biggest achievement?
Something that I am most proud of is being named first team all conference last year. My sophomore year breaking my foot really threw me a curveball and knew my next year I wanted to put everything into it. My biggest achievement was getting to college at all. After graduating high school I had no clue what I wanted to do and wasn’t highly motivated at all. The only reason for college that I had at the time was for football, and I am glad I pursued it.

Describe one of the most memorable plays of your collegiate career.
The most memorable play was catching the game winning overtime catch against Salve Regina last year. Making that catch on senior day and seeing everyone rush off the sideline at me was the most amazing feeling.

Do you have a favorite athlete or professional team? Is there a player that you model your game after?
Rob Gronkowski and the New England Patriots. My nickname when I got to school was Gronk, and I wear 87 because of it. I model my game after him and watch tons of highlights of his play style.

Who is your favorite music artist? What gets you pumped before a game?
J.Cole or Chris Stapleton. Pregame I usually just put on some kind of hip hop/rap playlist.

What is your favorite comfort food?
Trail mix. For some reason I can eat an entire bag of it.

Do you have a favorite movie, TV show or actor?
Big Trouble in Little China

What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any hobbies? Any secret talents?
Playing video games is something that I grew up doing and has always been something that helps me relax and play with friends.

Who or what motivates you the most?
My parents. They do more for me than I can even explain and they have been to 99.9% of all of my games no matter where they are. They push me to get better everyday and are my biggest supporters as well.
