Jets activate CB Dee Milliner; Place Willie Colon on I/R
The New York Jets announced Wednesday that they’ve activated CB Dee Milliner from short-term injured reserve and placed G Willie Colon on season-ending injured reserve.
The Jets need cornerback help because Antonio Cromartie officially is listed as doubtful. Cromartie, who suffered a deep thigh bruise Sunday, missed three straight days of practice. The nine-year veteran never has missed a game due to injury, but his Iron Man streak likely will end.
Cromartie will be replaced in the starting lineup by Buster Skrine or Marcus Williams. Skrine is questionable with shoulder and hand injuries, but he’s expected to play.
