Jets promote Jacqueline Davidson to Director of Football Administration

This is a great year for women in the NFL, first it was Sarah Thomas who was hired as an official, then Beth Mowins was hired as the Raiders play by play announcer, and last week the Cardinals hired Jen Welter as a linebacker’s assistant.

Well today the Jets made a move, and promoted Jacqueline Davidson to Director of Football Administration. Davidson, who has spent nine years working in the NFL, has been promoted by the Jets to the position of director of football administration. Davidson will replace Rod Graves, who recently left the Jets’ front office to take a position in the league office.

According to the Jets website, she helped land Darrelle Revis in the start of free agency. The Jets are happy to have her as a Director of Football Administration.

“Jackie has served as an integral part of our football administration efforts under Rod Graves this offseason,” Jets General Manager Mike Maccagnan said. “She’s bright and talented and she has earned this opportunity.”
