A Northern Illinois University football player faces felony charges after police said they stopped him drunkenly driving 93 mph, according to the Daily Chronicle.

Skyler P. Monaghan, 19, of the 28500 block of West Ash Creek Road, Willcox, Arizona, is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving an uninsured vehicle, speeding and possession of a fraudulent driver’s license.

Monaghan, a sophomore biology major, is listed on the Huskies roster as a wide receiver. Last year, he played in 11 games on special teams, according to the team’s website.

Monaghan “has been suspended indefinitely” from the team, NIU Associate Athletic Director Donna Turner said Friday afternoon.
