

Five players who were slapped with the franchise tag in February arrive at the deadline for doing a long-term deals with their current team today. Jason Pierre Paul, Dez Bryant, Demaryius Thomas, Stephen Gostkowski and Justin Houston are hoping to land long term deals today, but that may not happen.

Unsigned franchised players have until 4PM ET today to sign a long-term deal with their respective NFL teams.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, the one with the best chance of getting a deal done is Justin Houston and the Kansas City Chiefs. I am not sure that can happen, but it will be interesting to see during crunch time.
