Patriots have cut TE Fred Davis; Team inks first rounder
Today the New England Patriots released their third tight end in just a week’s time. The team recently released Tim Wright, Logan Stokes and today the team cut former Redskin TE Fred Davis. 
In a corresponding move the team signed first round pick Malcolm Brown. Brown was signed to replace Vince Wilfork, and will definitely have huge shoes to fill.
