It sounds like the Broncos did entertain a call for Peyton Manning but never called anyone

There was a report by Benjamin Allbright a Denver radio personality who said the Broncos had had talks with the Texans about trading Peyton Manning. Well while many groups denied the news, it sounds like there was conversations after all. According to Ian Rapoport the Texans called around, and they did in fact talk to the Broncos.

“I do believe there was some conversation between the Texans and several teams who have quarterbacks,” Rapoport added. “What it sounds like is that the Texans — without a quarterback and before they signed (Brian) Hoyer and (Ryan) Mallett — reached out to teams and tried to see what was there.”

We heard the Broncos never made a call, but did not know if the Texans did. It sounds like they did call the Broncos and the Broncos at least listened.
