C.J. Anderson says no one is expecting the Broncos to win, so the pressure is not on them

I honestly feel that people are writing off the Denver Broncos.  When running back C.J. Anderson talked with the Denver Post, he was asked if they felt pressure.  Anderson actually took a little shot at the media, saying that they didn’t feel any pressure.

“We just have to go out there and play football, There’s no pressure on us. There’s nobody picking us. There’s nobody picking our 39-year-old quarterback to go play well.”

The Broncos are getting 5.5 points on almost every Vegas line, so I too would feel disrespected. This is not a bum football team, they made it to the Super Bowl.

“Yeah, we’re used to it now,” wide receiver Demaryius Thomas added. “I think the past two weeks we’ve been underdogs and we stepped up to the plate and we were able to come out with the win. We don’t really care what the papers or whatever they say about being underdogs. We’re going to go out and do our jobs.”
