Chris Boyd has been released by the Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys waived WR Chris Boyd from the injured reserve list with an injury settlement.

Boyd, 23, originally signed on wit the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Vanderbilt back in May of 2014. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason last year, but he later signed a future/reserve contract with Dallas.
