Several NFL teams have already reached out to Harry Innis the massive TE from London
Yesterday, we posted an article on a player we found via the internet named Harry Innis. Harry is a 6’7 tight end that weighs 265 pounds and ran a 4.65 forty yard dash. We were intrigued by his ability to run and catch the ball, and we wanted to help spread his name out to NFL teams.
We didn’t realize the power of Social Media though, and how many NFL teams actually follow our work. After posting the article several NFL teams began reaching out to Harry himself. They are doing their homework on the 6’7 product from London. This is not ironic folks, there are tons of talented players all over the world, but they do not have an avenue to get their film out there.
Do not worry folks, you have an avenue now. NFL Draft Diamonds will be going international looking for talent. We feel there is a need for this and we would like to put it together to help. What we will do is have players contact us via Twitter or email nfldraftdiamonds@gmail.com which we will review the film we receive. If we feel the player is capable to play in the NFL, we will post an article and an interview on our site, allow people here in the United States to view it.
What people fail to realize is the NFL is becoming an international sport. People from all countries are falling in love with the sport, and as the sport grows in other countries, so will the talent. We want to offer that to others so expect to see more on players from not only the UK but everywhere in the world. We feel there is a need for this in the NFL, and we will do what we can to open the doors to the league.
P.S. – Did you know the Miami Dolphins drafted a player from the United Kingdom? Jay Ajayi is from London. Also after the draft, the Dallas Cowboys announced that they signed a 22-year-old defensive end named Efe Obada from the London Warriors, an amateur football team in England. He only has 5 NFL games played of American football.
Teams will look everywhere for talent, and so should we!!!! Expect it, Dream It and Make It Happen!
