Jets are showing interest in Brian Hoyer; If Ryan Fitzpatrick is cut there will be interest
Josina Anderson of ESPN reports that the Jets have joined Houston at the “forefront” of Hoyer’s mind after initial discussions during the negotiating window that opened on Saturday. If the Texans do land Hoyer however, the Jets would then be very interested in Ryan Fitzpatrick if the Texans release him according to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle.

John McClain can see the Jets going after Texans QB Ryan Fitzpatrick if Houston signs free agent QB Brian Hoyer. Remember, Ryan Fitzpatrick had his best season ever under Chan Gailey. Fitz is a smart quarterback and he can win a football game.
