Redskins rookie Breeland’s knee will be fine; MRI came back clean

breelandOn Friday’s practice rookie cornerback Bashaud Breeland left with a knee injury.  He was schedule to take an MRI yesterday night and boy did the Redskins luck out.

Per coach Jay Gruden, Breeland will be “good to go” against the Vikings “as long as it doesn’t swell tonight,” in reference to Breeland’s knee. The Skins avoid a major scare with their promising fourth-round rookie.

On ESPN 980, Gruden says Breeland’s injury is just a knee sprain. Good to go Sunday as long as it doesn’t swell tonight.
Breeland did some amazing work last week against the Cowboys wide receivers Dez Bryant and Terrance Williams.
