Oakland Raiders could claim both Ben Tate and LeGarrette Blount off waivers tomorrow

tateThe Oakland Raiders are already eliminated from the playoffs, and since they are the worst team in football, they could make a move tomorrow that would make their running game powerful.

The Raiders could claim both Ben Tate and LeGarrette Blount off the waivers tomorrow and release both Darren McFadden and Maurice Jones-Drew.

Not only would the Raiders get younger at the running back position, they would get cheaper as well.

To claim LeGarrette Blount off waivers, it’d cost a team just the $317,647 he has left in base salary. He hits the wire at 4 p.m. ET.

The Raiders would be crazy not to sign both of these young stallions to their team.  They have the first waiver claim because of their record and could really stack up their squad with the acquisition of both.
