Bills acquire amazing return man in Marcus Thigpen

Today the Buffalo Bills acquired return specialist Marcus Thigpen from the waiver wire today. Thigpen was released yesterday by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Thigpen entered the NFL in 2009 when he signed as an undrafted free agent with the Philadelphia Eagles. The 5-9, 200 pound Indiana product has played in 36 career games seeing time at both wide receiver and as a returner.

Thigpen has returned 64 punts in his career for an average of 10.1 yards per return and one touchdown in addition 83 kick returns for an average of 24.5 yards per return. Thigpen is 28 and a native of Detroit, MI.

Thigpen was a beast in the CFL as well. In a corrsponding move the team released Defensive End Bryan Johnson.
