Cowboys cut former seventh round pick; Call up Keith Smith
For the third time in five weeks the Dallas Cowboys re-called linebacker Keith Smith from the practice squad.
Smith was the NCAA leading tackler last year for San Jose State.
In a corresponding move, the Cowboys released rookie defensive tackle Ken Bishop. A seventh-round pick, Bishop has been credited with two tackles in three games. If he clears waivers, he could be brought back to the practice squad or active roster next week.
