49ers lose linebacker Patrick Willis for the rest of the game with a toe injury

Tonight, the San Francisco 49ers are finding themselves in a dog fight, and they will have to pull off the win without their best defender. According to multiple sources, linebacker Patrick Willis will not return tonight after suffering a toe injury.

If this toe injury is bad, he could miss multiple games. A.J. Green of the Bengals is dealing with the same type of injury and he will not be ready this week for the Bengals.  Hopefully the former first rounder Willis’ injury is not as bad as Green’s.
