Megatron is licking his lips waiting for the Jets
The New York Jets defense has been horrible over the past several weeks. One week after Green Bay wideout Jordy Nelson fried Gang Green for 209 yards through the air, Chicago’s duo of Alshon Jeffery and Martellus Bennett piled up a combined 13 catches for 159 yards and two scores on Monday night.
After losing both of those games, the Jets are now tasked with stopping Calvin Johnson and the Lions come Sunday.
“No doubt,” Johnson said, when asked by reporters if he’s “licking his lips” to face New York’s less-than-pristine collection of cornerbacks, per Dom Cosentino of NJ.com. “You definitely look forward to the challenge of getting single coverage high out there.”
I don’t know what the Jets will do, but I expect a monster game from Megatron.
