Colts sign running back Dion Lewis and LB Chris Carter
Today the Indianapolis Colts sign former Cleveland Browns running back Dion Lewis according to Rand Getlin.
@Rand_Getlin: The #Colts have signed RB Dion Lewis, per a league source. Lewis last played for the #Browns.
The Colts also signed LB Chris Carter.
Carter played 29 games for the Steelers the last three seasons. The former fifth-round pick was primarily a special teams player.
Lewis was also a fifth-rounder, from the Eagles in 2011. In two years there, he didn’t get much of a chance to run, but was an acceptable returner before being traded to the Browns.
