Broncos promote wide receiver from their practice squad
Wide receiver Nathan Palmer didn’t have to wait long for a promotion from the Broncos practice squad. He is the second player to be signed from the Broncos practice squad over night. Yesterday, the Browns signed Vinson Painter from their practice squad.
Palmer was one of the final cuts in Denver and he’s now got a spot on the 53-man roster after Wes Welker’s four-game suspension for violating the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy was announced on Tuesday.
