Tell us about your hometown, and what you love most about it?

•  I’m from Cincinnati, OH. My hometown is a place where you can get the best of competition and it is full of people that will push you to be your best every time you step forward. Every athlete knows each other or knows of each other and when one makes it big others follow.

List these three in order of importance and why: Film Study, Strength and Conditioning and Practice?

•  I would first have to say strength and conditioning because you need to be clicking physically on all levels in order to give your coaches what they want and be able to contribute. Also, as they say, the offseason is where you make your money and set yourself up for your season. Secondly, I would have to say film study because that’s where your mental piece of the game is. Once you can be mentally prepared the easier things are. Lastly, practice because once you have taken care of the first two practice is when you can put all of your physical and mental preparation to work and continue to work on your craft.

What do you worry about, and why?

•  What I worry about is not being given an opportunity. I worry because playing football is something I love and have a passion for and I don’t want all of the obstacles I’ve overcome be all for nothing.

Give me an example of when you failed at something. How did you react and how did you overcome failure?

•  One example is when I failed to make a 3rd down play at the beginning of the game, I had a short memory about it and told myself I would make up for it. As the game went on and the game was closer my number was called on again and I made a play on a 3rd and 8. I made the extra effort to get the first down in order to seal the game away because of the extra effort wasn’t made we would’ve been stopped short.

What do your teammates say is your best quality?

•  My teammates would say my way of leading from just working hard and trying to perfect my craft is my best quality.

Who is the best player you have ever played against in college?

•  the best player I’ve gone up against would have to be Justin Simmons from Boston College. His knowledge of the game put him in position to make plays all the time song with his range and athletic ability.

What would your career be if you couldn’t play football?

•  I would want to be a college coach in order to give back to athletes and be someone they can trust and go to in time of need.

Room, desk, and car – which do you clean first?

•  My desk because when I am doing work I like to have everything organized.

If there was a disaster and you could either save three strangers or one family member, which would you choose and why?

•  My family member. I have been raised to always be a family first person because at the end of the day that is all I will have whether it be blood relatives or close friends that I treat like family.

If you could be any television or movie character, who would you be and why?

•  It would have to be The Flash because of his ability to run as fast as anything.

Tell me about your biggest adversity in life and how you’ve dealt with or overcome it?

•  My biggest adversity would have to be transferring schools more than once. By transferring it put me in a place of having to start over again in hopes of new opportunities that I was not given because of OC changes the first two places I was at. I dealt with the changes by never giving up and fighting through the adversities God put me through, which has finally turned out for the better because I have now been given the opportunity to showcase my talents in the best way possible.

What is your most embarrassing moment?

•  My most embarrassing moment is when I got hurt in high school. It was embarrassing because I was not able to contribute to my team and it felt like I let them down.

What was the most memorable play of your collegiate career?

•  It would have to my first touchdown because it was a long time of waiting it seemed and when seeing my teammates and coaches as excited as me made it that much more memorable.

What song best describes your work ethic?

•  Hussle & Motivate by Nipsey Hussle

What is the most important trait you can have (Physical or Non-Physical) to help you succeed at the next level?

•  My mental game would have to be the most important trait because having that will enable me to endure what is thrown at me and the ability to understand the game will only benefit me.

If you could bring one person back from the dead for one day, who would it be and why?

•  It would be Jesus Christ because I would be able to ask Him any question and get an answer.

If you were to open a dance club, what would you name it?

•  I would probably call it, Vibez.

Who is the most underrated player in the NFL?

•  Keenan Allen would have to be the player that doesn’t get the recognition he deserves like other top receivers. His ability to create separation is like an artwork when he does it whether coming off the line or at the top of routes.

Would you rather be liked or respected, and why?

•  Respected, because not everyone will like you and respect is more valuable than being liked.

What player who had his career derailed by off-field issues do you feel for the most and why?

•  I would say Chad Johnson because he changed the game in his ability to create separation and beat press all while having fun playing football, but once his off-field incident happened in Miami it seemed as people forgot about him.

Do you love to win, or hate to lose?

•  I hate to lose because there’s no other feeling of losing. If you hate to lose then you can only do everything in your power to win and never miss out on any details because the risk of losing is what pushes me to do everything I need to do.

Who has been the biggest influence on your life and explain why?

  • My dad, because with all the adversities someone can face he has always shown me that there is always another way and that has been instilled in me to never give up and let someone say I can’t do something because there’s always someone else out there that is willing to give you the opportunity someone else wasn’t willing to give.
