Redskins begin their roster cuts; Tevita Stevens first to be released
Today the Washington Redskins began their roster cuts. One of the first players released was Tevita Stephens. Stephens was with the team last year and could be a practice squad guy if he clears waivers.

The team has also released Richard Crawford according to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun. Safety Da’Mon Cromartie Smith has also been cut by the Redskins.

Redskins also cut punter Robert Malone, wide receiver Lee Doss, NT Robert Thomas and OL Kevin Kowalski.
