Giants release a few; Charles James a huge surprise
The New York Giants have been very high on Charles James the former undrafted cornerback from Charleston Southern University. James was a very solid player and a good special teams kid, but failed to make the roster today.

Giants waived or released K Brandon McManus, CB Charles James, LB Spencer Adkins, CB Ross Weaver, CB Kyle Sebetic, DE Emmanuel Dieke, and TE Jerome Cunningham.
With McManus being cut the team will go into the regular season with Josh Brown as their starter. Also in a surprise cut the team released Jerome Cunningham who had a pretty stellar pre-season. Many solid players are getting cut, it will be interesting to see how it pans out.
