Packers finally reward a veteran wide out; Jordy Nelson gets paid

Jordy Nelson was hoping for ten million a year and he received damn near what ge was asking for.

Nelson signed a four-year, $39 million extension that includes an $11.5 million signing bonus according to mulitple reports including NFL Network.

That’s a fair deal for both sides, and keeps the Packers’ most productive receiver in Green Bay for a while.

This breaks their mold, because in the last two years they let their free agent veteran wide out walk in free agency.
