Rice caught 22 in 1987. Rice did not play in four games, due to an NFL strike. One game was cancelled and the other three were played by replacement players.
Had Rice played all 16 games and played at his 1987 pace, he would have caught 29 touchdowns, which is just insane. That would be seven better than Moss’ 2007 season. WOW
