Minnesota Vikings claim linebacker off the waiver wire
Today the Minnesota Vikings claimed Terrell Manning off the waiver wire from the San Diego Chargers. Manning has appeared in 6 contests in his first 2 NFL seasons. Manning spent the 2013 season with San Diego after playing his rookie season with Green Bay. He was drafted by Green Bay in the 5th round (163rd overall) in the 2012 NFL Draft out of North Carolina State.
Manning was college teammates with Audie Cole at NC State, and will once again be his teammate in Minnesota. The former fifth-round pick out of N.C. State had battled back from a parasitic infection which caused him to lose 20 pounds during training camp, but came back to contribute as a special teamer.
