Ivy League football player had a 43′ inch vert, but can jump 66.5 inches (VIDEO)

We look at Ivy League players and think they are just smart and they are not great athletes, but that is changing.  These Ivy League players continue to impress me.  Last year Mike Catapano the former Princeton standout was a freak in the weight room.  This year Caraun Reid of Princeton is another guy that is climbing NFL Draft boards.  Well there is another Ivy League player that needs to be getting a closer look.  His name is Garrett Waggoner from Dartmouth.

I talked to a former NFL scout who had Garrett at the NFL Regional Combine, that was blown away by this kid.  Garrett Waggoner showed up at the Regional Combine and he jumped a 43 inch vertical, which would have been the best at the 2014 NFL Scouting Combine.  Not only did he jump through the roof, the kid was a freak at all the positions.  So I had the pleasure to interview him for our site, and I found out the kid had videos on Youtube.

Well while guys like Johnny Manziel have been posting videos of them dunking a ball, this kid posted a video of him jumping 66.5 inches, and clearing the bar.  That is 5-5 feet, which is taller than Selena Gomez.  That is far more impressive than dunking a basketball.  So I thought I would show you the video of this Ivy League kid because I could not believe it.
