Former Lions WR Titus Young is in the Hospital getting treatment
Titus Young was supposed to be on trial yesterday in a Los Angeles court, but they had to get the court date pushed back according to USA Today, because Titus Young the former NFL star was hospitalize getting treatment.
“He’s receiving treatment and is in a safe place,” Young’s attorney, Brian Hurwitz, told USA Today after a brief court hearing.
Young faces 11 charges, including four counts of felony burglary. He was arrested three times in a week last May.
Young was a second-round pick of the Lions in 2011 but was cut last year because of constant disruptions on and off the field. St. Louis picked him up but quickly cut him too. Despite the fact that he has plenty of talent, it’s nearly impossible to see him playing in the NFL ever again.
