Mike Mayock compares Jadeveon Clowney to Bruce Smith :
Bruce Smith – Buffalo Bills
Jadeveon Clowney is a freak of a player, and let’s face it any person that can run a 4.5 forty yard dash at 266 pounds is in another class when you are comparing world class athletes. Today Mike Maycok was raving about Clowney on Path to the draft, and he compared him to Bruce Smith when Smith was in his prime.
“As good or better an athlete than Mario Williams,” Mayock said on “Path to the Draft.” “Reminds me of Bruce Smith back in his heyday. As good a natural athlete that has ever played this position.
“From a god-given, natural physical ability (standpoint), he’s got more than anybody that’s ever played defensive end.”
Mike Mayock is probably one of the best talent evaluators in the business, and I agree with him. It would be extremely hard to pass on Clowney if you are the Houston Texans.
