What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2023 NFL Draft

I believe that I am a top tight-end prospect because I am a very versatile and physical player. I feel that with my height and skillset I can add value to any team in the league. I am comfortable lining up in multiple positions on the field and am confident in my ability to run routes, catch passes and block in the run game.

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

One thing that the NFL teams should know about me is that I am a team player and willing to do whatever it takes to help the team win.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

I would donate to orphans and children who are in need in both Kenya and the Chicagoland area. This is because I am from the Chicago area and have family in Kenya.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

The best advice that I have received in my life is to work hard, be determined, and pursue your goals.

Who was your childhood hero?

One of my childhood hero’s was Derrick Rose.

Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?

One of the most underrated and talented players in the locker room at my school is Javon Foster.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

One of my biggest pet peeves is when people do not give 100% effort in whatever they do.

At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?

I have always been interested in the sport of football since childhood. However, I did not end up playing until college when I transitioned from the basketball court to the gridiron.

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

One of the hardest moments during my football career was injuring my foot and having surgery heading into my final season. This was because it forced me to focus and prioritize my rehab as well as strengthen my body to get back in time for the beginning of the football season.

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

One thing that is interesting about Mizzou is that they are credited with starting the tradition of homecoming. The school is special to me because I was there for my entire collegiate career and they gave me the opportunity to compete at the highest level.

What is your favorite snack food?

One of my favorite snacks to eat is pretzels.

What is the best part of football?

I think that the best part of football is getting the opportunity to work as a team and compete to the best of my ability, both physically and mentally.

If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?

I have a unique combination of size and athleticism that can allow me to add value and have an immediate impact on any team.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?

I think that I can compare to a number of tight ends in the league, but one person that has similar traits is Travis Kelce.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

The three people that I would have dinner with are Lebron James, Barack Obama, and Martin Luther King. I chose Lebron because he is a dedicated and disciplined athlete who has succeeded on and off the court. I chose President Obama because he overcame many obstacles to become the first African-American to be president of the United States. MLK was the third person that I chose because he suffered and fought injustices so that the next generations could live better life.
