Carolina Panthers are scheduled to work out a wide receiver on Friday
Wide receiver Kevin Cone, who was not extended an exclusive-rights tender by the Falcons, is set to workout for the Carolina Panthers on Friday, according to his agent Mark Clouser. Cone is receiving interest from the Jacksonville Jaguars as well according to the Atlanta Constitution and Journal.
The former Georgia Tech player who walked onto the team after transferring from NAIA Shorter College was one of two exclusive rights free agents for the Falcons. Wide receiver Drew Davis did receive a tender offer of $570,000.
