HBCU college cheerleader posted a very sad suicide note on social media before her body was discovered

Depression is real and it can really make a person feel they do not deserve to be alive. I say this because I just read one of the saddest things ever on social media.

Arlana Miller had a bright future, she was a cheerleader for Southern University and was a Freshman that just turned 21 years of age.

She wrote a very sad Instagram post which looked and felt like a suicide note. It was truly saddening, she mentioned her family members and told people not to be sad.

I quickly typed her name into Google to find out her body was found in the Mississippi River.

This is so sad, she was such a beautiful girl and we ask that you please keep the family in your prayers during this tough time.

If you or someone you know is affected by any of the issues raised in this story, call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 800-273-TALK(8255) or text Crisis Text Line at 741741.
