Seahawk fans assist a 15 year old homeless 49ers fan by raising money (Must Read)

Catherine Tate wanted to give this 15 year old boy a ticket to the San Francisco 49ers game against the Seattle Seahawks since she had first row seats, after seeing the kids dedication to his team. Well both she and King5 in Seattle began digging some more to find out quite a bit more.

The boy is 15 years old and a warden of the state of Washington. He lives mainly in homeless shelters.

Niners Nation says the boy’s name is Ronnie Andrews, but that is not confirmed.

On her website, Tate wrote the following description:

“Ladies Of The Empire origianlly was trying to reward this kid with a free ticket to the Niners vs. Seattle game in Levi’s Stadium, at the time not knowing his age or his situation. But through the magic of social media we found him. And when we did we found way more than any of us had even imagined. We knew this kid was brave and passionate but we had no idea the depth. We have now made it our mission to not only help this kid attend his first Niner game next season but we are on a mission to find him a stable home. A home where he can grow and thrive and be a kid. Something every kid deserves.”

After speaking with the boy’s case worker, Tate started a GoFundMe account where fans could donate money that would be put in a trust for the boy to access when he turns 18.

Her original goal was to raise $5,500 to bring him to San Francisco to come to a game, but as of Today, the account has received more than $15,643 in donations.

I just came back from church and we were taught about loving each other and giving. What an awesome story!!!
