Lions hire Vince Lombardi’s grandson to help with Matthew Stafford
Today the Detroit Lions will hire Saints quarterbacks coach Joe Lombardi as offensive coordinator, league sources told ESPN senior NFL Insider Chris Mortensen.

Lombardi is the grandson of Vince Lombardi, which is one of the best coaches in the entire NFL. Lombardi worked with the Saints previously and was a great coach for both Chase Daniel and Drew Brees. This goes to show that the Lions are working hard to get Stafford help.
