Glen Stanley is a very underrated player, that is flying under the radar.  Jimbo Fisher of Florida State had some amazing things to say about Stanley, saying his motor and heart could be the best of any draft prospect coming out in 2014.  Stanley only played in a few games this year for Albany State and he tore it up, making second team all american team in their division.  Keep an eye on Stanley this kid can play.

How many teams were recruiting you out of high school?

I had plenty schools maybe 20 recruiting me top schools being West Virginia, South Florida UM!

Where did you choose and why?

I choose to go to Bowling Green to play right away and I also had 2 cousins that we’re playing there when I signed with them

What were your goals for your senior year?

I wanna make all conference, lead conference in sacks learn all LB positions and also in a dime nickel come in and put my hands in dirt and rush the passer.

Have any scouts met with you, and if so what are they saying?

Met with few teams Saints and Ravens. They both told me they had to evaluate film but I have good size and speed from just visiting.

At your position, what separates you from the others?

I feel like I’m versatile I can blitz and I’m very fast off the snap. I can also give them power as well, with a bull rush.

Tell us what you look for when breaking down film?

When watching film I look for weakness in opponent and also keys that they give far as pass run. Look at tendencies the team have on early downs and so forth. Film is key to the game and I live in film room during the season.

Who was the toughest player you have ever faced?

CJ Spiller in high school and my freshman year in college I played against Matt Ryan and he threw 7-8 touchdowns I started and played and was more amazed by some of his throws.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

I try to imitate Von Miller as much as possible he has great size and can do either rush the passer or drop back in coverage.

What system fits your style of play the best?

Just going to different colleges and becoming a father and a man taking care of my child and still trying to pursue my dream and play football. I took off a while and came back stronger faster than I was before. I learned how to balance fatherhood, school and football.

What is your biggest strength?

My biggest strength is my speed and just being a student of the game always trying to learn from others.

What is your biggest weakness?

My biggest weakness right now is dropping back into coverage. I say that because I didn’t have to do it much this year and with that being said I work consistently/effortless on LB drops and coverage skills.

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I would tell him u are going to get a player who will out work the next man stays out of trouble and will be willing to do any and everything to help your team win.

If you were to have dinner with three people dead or alive who would it be?

Ray Lewis, Beyoncé, Michael Jordan.(love my J’s)

With your first paycheck what would you buy?

With my first check I’m going to buy a house and land.
