How many teams were recruiting you out of high school?

Where did you choose and why?

I chose Winston Salem state because of how it was a real good prestigious HBCU but I didn’t attend due to my SAT score so I attended Butler CC and was red shirted and transferred to Benedict college to play all 4 years.

What were your goals for your senior year?

To win the SIAC championship, win defensive player of the year, make 1st team all SIAC.

At your position, what separates you from the others?

My drive and motor

Tell us what you look for when breaking down film?

The tendencies that the men in front of me do on certain plays and what plays the tend to run a lot and then different formations they run plays out of.

Who was the toughest player you have ever faced?

Can’t honestly think of any

If you could compare your play to one person in the NFL who would it be?

Bruce Irvin

What is the biggest obstacle you ever had to overcome? 

Well my junior year of college me and my friends family had to move out of the house we were staying in into an hotel and we lived in a hotel majority of the football season until moving into a trailer

What system fits your style of play the best?

In  3-4 defense as an outside linebacker and 4-3 defense as and D-End.

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

That I am a hard working individual who won’t ever give you problems on or off the field I’m smart quick fast and will make plays if you was to give me a shot you WILL NOT have any regrets on choosing me.

Growing up, who was your role model?

My mom and Step Dad

Who was your favorite team and player in the NFL and why?

The Carolina Panthers and Bruce Irvin because I’m from North Carolina and I grew up watching the Panthers play and Bruce Irvin has been my favorite player since he was in college his motor is crazy.

If you were to have dinner with three people dead or alive who would it be?

Barack Obama, Martin Luther King Jr, and Malcolm X.

With your first paycheck what would you buy?

I would pay my Mom and Dads bills
