You should expect a coach that has his defense walloping his opponents to eventually get a shot at a head coaching spot, and that is exactly what is going on. Dan Quinn the defensive coordinator is getting his shot to finally lead a team.
The Vikings have requested permission to interview Seahawks DC Dan Quinn for their head-coaching vacancy.
Quinn also appears to be on the Browns’ short list after a phenomenal year running Seattle’s defense under Pete Carroll. Vikings GM Rick Spielman has said he plans to have a new head coach in place by January’s Senior Bowl.
One thing about Pete Carroll and Seattle, when they lost Gus Bradley they didn’t miss a beat. I would expect the same thing to happen if Quinn left this year.
