Deion Sanders is looking for quarterbacks with both their Mother and Father in their lives and a 3.5 GPA

Deion Sanders is a great coach because he is pretty blunt. He does not care about feelings, he will put out into the world what he wants out there, and when he appeared on the Rich Eisen Show during the Super Bowl, he was asked what he looks for in a quarterback and his first comment was simple, BOTH PARENTS.

“We want mother, father, you know, dual parents,” Sanders says. “We want that kid to be 3.5 [GPA] and up because he’s got to be smart.

“[He can’t make] bad decisions off the field. At all. Because he has to be a leader of men. There are so many different attributes and what we look for when we see a quarterback. And, [we] would love a coach’s son.”

Deion said this but if you read it he basically called out his son. The only thing was when he said a Mother and Father. Deion and his wife Pilar divorced back in 2013, but Pilar is still very involved in the children’s lives.

But he continued with his D-Lineman and O-Lineman and Deion didn’t hold back haha.

But when it comes to defensive lineman, Sanders (somewhat) jokingly says that “single mama” and “he’s on free lunches … trying to rescue mama” is what he looks for.

On offensive lineman, Sanders says he looks for “dual parent homes” and “a strong father.”

You have to love Deion for speaking his mind, but this will upset some. What do you think?
