Josh Freeman might never start again; Matt Cassel named starter
Matt Cassel will likely start at quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, coach Leslie Frazier said Wednesday.
Christian Ponder has not been cleared to practice after sustaining a concussion last Sunday against the Chicago Bears, and Frazier said the Vikings were not planning on having Ponder for the team’s upcoming game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Josh Freeman continues to be a bust, wow he cannot even beat out Matt Cassel. Time to pull the plug.
