According to Mike Florio and Pro Football Talk, the former upstate New York monster of a tight end Rob Gronkowski, who has missed the first five weeks of the season while recovering from back surgery, is expected to be cleared this week, a league source tells PFT.
That means Gronkowski should be good to go on Sunday against the Saints, as the Patriots attempt to avoid their second straight loss.
Tom Brady is probably jumping up and down right now. I cannot blame him with the play they have had from their receiving core so far. Brady and Gronk will look to make a huge playoff run.
