Breaking News: Kansas City Chiefs sign CB Vernon Kearney to practice squad
Today the Kansas City Chiefs signed small school cornerback Vernon Kearney from Lane University.
Kearney was signed as a UDFA by the Buffalo Bills and was later released and signed by the Cleveland Browns during the preseason.
Kearney is a 6 foot one 180 pound cornerback that is very good. In his senior year at Lane only 26 passes were thrown his way.
